Support Free Software
Free Software. I think we take Free Software for granted sometimes. And sometimes when things get taken for granted, we lose them.
We all rely on free software (whether we realize it or not), and it makes our lives better every day. From libraries to languages, from demons to Applications, from kernals to opperating systems; there are software developers, UI designes, doccumentation writers, Sys Admins, etc all working to make Free software available and reliable for everyone.
The GPL and similar licenses are under constant attack by individuals, and organizations who use Free Software source code, but don't comply with the terms of the licenses, which are the very thing that keep the software Free.
Projects like The Free Software Foundation, Software Freedom Conservancy, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation carefully and dilligently write and defend these licenses from such attacks.
The Free software community needs your help. You don't have to be a developer to be a beta tester, or a doccumentation writer. You don't have to be a public speaker to share the benefits of Free Software with your friends and family. You don't have to be a millionaire to become a member or to make small contributions from time to time. Whatever you do from day to day, you have talents and resources that could be put to good use by these projects and developers.
If you value Free Software, please find a way to help out.
